The Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Cosmiclogy, a service operated by a team based in Mumbai, India. They apply every time you use our website, apps, or any other part of our service.
By creating an account, purchasing anything from us, or continuing to use Cosmiclogy after these Terms are posted, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
We’ve written these Terms to be readable. If anything is unclear, write to us at support@cosmiclogy.com. We’ll explain.
What Cosmiclogy Is
Cosmiclogy is a self-understanding platform that uses astrological methodology. We calculate your birth chart from the date, time, and place of your birth, and produce personalised readings that help you think about yourself, your patterns, your timing, and your relationships.
Cosmiclogy is not:
- A prediction service. We don’t claim to know your future.
- A substitute for professional medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice.
- A guarantee of any outcome. Our readings are interpretations, not instructions.
- A crisis service. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact a qualified professional or emergency helpline immediately.
Use Cosmiclogy the way you would use any contemplative tool — as a mirror for reflection, not a map to follow.
Your Account
To use most of Cosmiclogy, you need an account. By creating one, you confirm that:
- You are at least 16 years old.
- The information you provide — especially your birth date, time, and place — is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- You will keep your password safe and not share your account with others.
- You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
If you discover that someone has used your account without permission, please let us know immediately at support@cosmiclogy.com.
You can create one account per person. Creating multiple accounts to abuse free credits, referral rewards, or promotional offers may result in termination of all associated accounts.
Payments & Credits
We offer three types of purchases:
Individual reports
One-time purchases of named readings like The Origin, The Compass, The Resonance, The Bond, and The Opus. These are yours forever and can be read or re-read anytime in your account.
Subscription plans
Monthly plans (Seeker, Navigator, Council) that include a recurring credit allowance and access to the Cosmic Council agents. Plans renew automatically until cancelled.
Credits
One credit equals one question to any Cosmic Council agent. You can purchase credits individually or receive them as part of a subscription plan.
Credits never expire. Credits you purchase or earn stay in your account indefinitely, even if you cancel a subscription.
How payments work
All payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card details. Your transaction is secured by Razorpay’s PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure. Prices are displayed in your local currency where supported, or in US dollars as a fallback.
Price changes
We may update prices over time. If you’re already on a subscription plan, your current rate is locked in until the end of your billing cycle. When you renew, the current published price applies. We will email you at least 7 days before any increase.
Refunds
We want you to be happy with Cosmiclogy. Our refund policy balances fairness to you with protection against abuse. Refunds are available under these specific conditions:
| Individual reports | Refundable within 48 hours of purchase, only if the report has not been opened or downloaded. |
| Subscription plans | Refundable within 7 days of purchase, only if less than 10% of that billing period’s credits have been used. |
| Credit packs | Refundable within 7 days of purchase, only if no credits from the pack have been used. |
| Name Alignment | Refundable up to 24 hours before your scheduled session. No refund after. |
Refunds are processed to the original payment method and typically take 5 to 10 business days to appear, depending on your bank.
To request a refund, write to support@cosmiclogy.com with your order number and the reason for the refund. We read every message.
Refunds are not available for dissatisfaction with the content or accuracy of a reading. Astrological interpretations are inherently personal, and we cannot guarantee that a reading will resonate with every reader. By purchasing, you acknowledge this.
Subscriptions
Monthly subscription plans renew automatically until you cancel them.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Account settings. When you cancel:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
- You keep access to all features through that date.
- Credits you’ve already received remain yours.
- No further charges are made.
We do not prorate refunds for cancellations mid-cycle. If you cancel halfway through a month, you pay for the full month but keep using the service until the billing period ends.
Your Readings & Content
You own your readings
The readings we generate for you — your Cosmic Profile, Origin, Compass, Resonance, Bond, Opus, and all chat responses from the Cosmic Council — are yours. You can download them, print them, save them, share parts of them with friends, quote them in your journal, or use them however you want personally.
What we own
We own the Cosmiclogy platform: the design, the methodology, the system prompts, the agent personalities, the brand, the logo, the visual identity, the code, and the proprietary numerology framework. You are granted a license to use the service and your readings — not the infrastructure that produces them.
Sharing
We encourage you to share insights, quotes, or excerpts from your readings with people in your life. What we ask you not to do:
- Republish full reports commercially (selling, including in paid products, reposting on commercial platforms).
- Claim authorship of readings we generated.
- Remove the Cosmiclogy attribution when sharing full reports publicly.
- Use readings to train machine learning models.
Testimonials
If you love your reading and write to us about it, or post publicly about Cosmiclogy, we may ask for your permission to quote you in marketing. We will always ask first. You can decline, and you can ask us to stop using a previously granted quote at any time.
AI Disclosure
Cosmiclogy readings are generated by an artificial intelligence system operating on prompts, frameworks, and a personality database designed by our team.
Here is how it works:
- Your birth data is calculated into a precise astrological chart using the Swiss Ephemeris.
- The chart data is passed to an AI model (currently Anthropic’s Claude) with our carefully crafted system prompts.
- The AI produces the text of your reading based on our prompts and your chart data.
- Our team has spent years refining the prompts, the voice, the translations from astrological terminology to psychological language, and the literary framework that gives every reading its Cosmiclogy character.
We believe in being transparent about this. The curation, the methodology, the voice — these come from human work. The sentences themselves are machine-generated within the constraints we’ve designed.
This does not make the readings less personal. Your chart is genuinely unique. The output is genuinely unique to you. But you should know what is producing it.
Acceptable Use
Cosmiclogy is a contemplative space. To keep it that way, we ask that you do not:
- Create multiple accounts to exploit free credits, referral rewards, or promotions.
- Harass, abuse, or threaten our team or other users.
- Use the service for illegal purposes under Indian or international law.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract content at scale.
- Attempt to reproduce or copy our AI system, prompts, or methodology.
- Share your account credentials with others.
- Attempt to disrupt the service for other users through technical means.
- Submit deliberately false birth data to manipulate the AI.
Violation of any of these may result in suspension or termination of your account.
Termination
You can leave at any time
You can delete your account at any time from your Account settings. When you do, your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. You will lose access to your readings and any remaining credits.
When we may terminate an account
We may suspend or terminate accounts for the following specific reasons:
- Fraud, including chargebacks, fake referrals, or use of stolen payment methods.
- Abuse of our team or other users.
- Creating multiple accounts to game the system.
- Violations of applicable law.
- Attempting to reverse-engineer or scrape the platform.
- Sharing account credentials.
- Any other material violation of these Terms.
What happens when we terminate
If we terminate your account:
- We will notify you by email with the reason.
- You will have 30 days to appeal by writing to support@cosmiclogy.com.
- If the appeal is unsuccessful or not made, your account and data will be permanently deleted after 30 days, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
- Refunds for unused subscription periods are at our discretion and generally not granted for terminations due to violations.
Disclaimers
Cosmiclogy is provided as a tool for self-reflection and contemplation. It is not professional advice of any kind.
Readings should never replace the advice of qualified professionals in medicine, psychology, psychiatry, finance, law, or any other domain. If you are experiencing a serious decision, distress, or crisis, consult a qualified professional.
We do not warrant that readings will be accurate, applicable, useful, or emotionally resonant for any particular person or situation. Astrological interpretations are inherently subjective, and their value depends on how the reader engages with them.
We do not guarantee that the service will be available without interruption, error-free, or continuously functional. We will do our best to keep the service running, but we make no promises about uptime or technical perfection.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law:
- Cosmiclogy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
- Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you have paid to Cosmiclogy in the twelve months preceding the claim.
- You are responsible for the decisions you make in your own life. We are not responsible for outcomes that result from your interpretation of, or actions based on, our readings.
None of this removes any rights you have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act 2019 or other Indian laws that cannot be contracted away.
Changes to These Terms
Cosmiclogy is evolving. As we add features, expand to new regions, or refine how the service works, these Terms may change.
When we make material changes — changes that affect your rights, pricing, or how you can use the service — we will:
- Update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
- Email you at the address on your account.
- Post a notice in the app at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
Continued use of Cosmiclogy after changes take effect means you accept the new Terms. If you don’t accept them, you can cancel your subscription and delete your account.
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Mediation first
If you have a dispute with Cosmiclogy, please write to us at support@cosmiclogy.com first. Most things can be resolved through conversation. We commit to responding in good faith within 14 days.
Formal disputes
If a dispute cannot be resolved through direct communication, it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
Nothing in this section prevents you from bringing claims in the consumer forum of your jurisdiction where Indian consumer protection law permits.
